English Immersion: Public Speaking

English Immersion: Public Speaking
When learning a new language, it is important for students to place special emphasis on the ability to speak effectively and with comfort. Through this program, students will be able to sharpen their communication abilities in a way that will allow them to be more articulate and confident as they communicate their ideas.
A focus will be placed on helping students to build the skills necessary to excel in school, attain their dream jobs and defend their beliefs and values in their new language. Students will focus on the mastery of English fluency while learning the grammar and vocabulary that will be useful to them as they develop their own authentic voice. They will have the opportunity to practice their speaking skills while conversing with native speakers in authentic situations. Students will learn how to make effective presentations, participate in meetings, write for business situations as well as develop strong interview techniques.
5 Reasons to Focus on Public Speaking This Summer!
- Speaking fluently and confidently is a necessary and indispensable life skill necessary for success in the education or business setting.
